This is a Part-Time, Day Shift position for an experienced phlebotomist at Northwest Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and labeling all specimens requiring testing in the clinical laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and label specimens for testing
- Perform order entry of tests as necessary
- Ensure specimens are routed to appropriate areas for testing
- Perform waived complexity testing under the direction of a staff technologist
- Process specimens for reference laboratory testing
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Two years previous phlebotomy experience in a healthcare setting
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification
