Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist

Getlabs is revolutionizing the diagnostics industry with its innovative platform for at-home testing. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and expanding access to diagnostics for everyone.
Our team has achieved significant milestones, including $45M in funding from prominent investors. Getlabs' mission is to save lives by making diagnostics more accessible. We are seeking a PRN (as needed) and PT Mobile Phlebotomist to join our high-growth startup, working in a dynamic environment with talented colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hospitals, offices, or mobile environments, with a high standard of excellence and minimal supervision. You will work a PT shift of 5am-1pm, 3 days a week, between Monday and Friday. We value candidates who are friendly, empathetic, and genuinely care about patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Visiting patients in their homes or offices, driving to and from appointments, and dropping samples off at patient service centers or laboratories
- Following safe and accurate blood collection procedures and processing of specimens with a high degree of accuracy
- Adapting to a rapid high-growth environment
- Maintaining close communication with the operations and patient experience team during business hours
Requirements:
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience (mobile phlebotomy experience preferred)
- Experience processing samples
- Certification from a national agency such as American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to drive in the dark and physically access patients' homes
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Proof of first shot of Covid-19 Vaccine by 30 days of employment
- Bonus Qualifications: Fluent in Spanish
