Business Development Director - LATAM Region

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team in Colombia. As a key member of our LATAM region team, you will be responsible for driving business development initiatives and expanding our company's footprint in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement effective business development strategies to identify and secure new opportunities in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the LATAM region.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to drive business growth.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals and bids, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Metrics: Establish and monitor performance metrics to track progress against business development goals and objectives.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance visibility and build a network of potential clients and partners.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development for engineering contractors, with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the LATAM market and the specific challenges and opportunities in the region.
