Nurse Supervisor Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend Supervisor at RedRocks Center in Gallup, NM. As a key member of our geriatric/long-term care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff and minimize the use of overtime and agency personnel.
- Participate in staff mentorship, recruitment, and new hire orientation, and recommend employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications:* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university; BSN preferred
* Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required
* Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred
* Minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care is preferred
* One year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred
