Position Summary:
We are in search of a proactive Regional Vice President to oversee our operations in the Eastern Region. This role encompasses leadership, effective communication, and mentorship of the FARM Area Team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key clients to ensure the seamless succession of Farm Managers.
2. Stay informed on current initiatives and technical strategies to guide the team in aligning their efforts with the overarching corporate objectives.
3. Foster connections with influential stakeholders to effectively communicate our services; participate in industry events and maintain an active presence in professional organizations.
4. Champion the team selling approach to support long-term growth objectives and enhance the company's market presence.
5. Provide direct leadership to Farm Managers and Assistant Regional Vice Presidents, collaborating with the FARM Leadership Team.
Supervisory Duties:
Directly manage a team of 11 employees, focusing on business growth and team development. Responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Assigning tasks and overseeing work processes.
- Addressing employee concerns and resolving issues in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the agriculture sector, with at least 4 years in a management role and 4 years in sales.
- A real estate broker's license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, communicate, and utilize visual skills for operating equipment and reading documents. Occasional travel within the designated region is expected for client engagements and industry events.
