Position Overview:


We are in search of a highly experienced Lead Electrical Estimator with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in heavy MEP construction.

The successful candidate will excel in estimating intricate electrical projects, overseeing the entire process from initial bid preparation to project completion.

This position demands a profound understanding of electrical systems along with the capability to manage and supervise estimating functions with precision and accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Develop comprehensive and precise cost estimates for large-scale electrical projects, including healthcare facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and other commercial and industrial projects.
2. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare thorough estimates.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
4. Prepare and present bid proposals, encompassing cost breakdowns, schedules, and scope of work.
5. Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure alignment with project specifications.
6. Monitor and track changes in project scope and adjust estimates as necessary.
7. Maintain and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
8. Stay informed on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Salary Range:
Approximately $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical estimating, particularly in heavy MEP construction.
2. Proven history of successfully estimating large and complex electrical projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and relevant codes and standards.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret and apply technical information.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
6. Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
7. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
8. Ability to work as a team player, as this role may require assisting other staff members.
