As a vital member of our esteemed team, the Customer Service Representative is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that crew and passengers receive unparalleled service. You will be responsible for providing a warm welcome and personalized concierge assistance, ensuring every guest has an extraordinary experience. Additionally, you will collaborate with ground personnel to guarantee that all services are executed and billed accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Offer concierge services to pilots and guests, including making necessary reservations.
- Manage invoicing for services provided to customers and pilots.
- Document customer preferences in the internal system.
- Prepare proactively for all incoming aircraft.
- Provide timely feedback regarding service issues or customer inquiries.
- Work alongside the line service team to exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain the hospitality bar with snacks and beverages.
- Ensure a tidy work environment, including the front desk, lobby, and all amenities.
Competencies Required:
- Strong customer focus with an outgoing personality.
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members in person, via phone, and through radio.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and point of sale systems.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Customer Service Manager.
Work Environment:
This role operates in a professional setting, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and direct interaction with both moving and stationary aircraft.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Standing to greet customers and walking throughout the facility.
- Possible exposure to loud noise levels, chemicals, and machinery.
Position Type:
This is a non-exempt role that includes shift work, requiring availability for evenings, weekends, and company holidays.
Travel:
No travel is anticipated for this position.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the service industry.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Entry-level position.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Zero tolerance drug-free workplace, including pre-employment and random screenings.
