Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Accounts Representative to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and submit claims electronically in a timely manner using our claims management system
  • Review claim edits and rejections, making necessary corrections to ensure compliance with federal, state, and commercial payor requirements
  • Work claims in a DNB or hold status to ensure timely billing practices
  • Coordinate data requests with other departments to support timely billing
  • Prepare and submit manual paper claims as needed to third-party payors

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two years of medical billing, collections, or related experience preferred
  • EPIC/Fastrack Billing experience preferred
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations, as well as specific commercial payer requirements
