Job Summary
Covenant Health (Tennessee) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver/Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our mobile health clinic team, you will be responsible for driving the RV, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the mobile health clinic on designated routes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of healthcare services.
- Communicate effectively with staff to confirm changes, additions, or deletions from route schedules.
- Perform daily safety inspections of the vehicle and equipment, and complete vehicle condition reports as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, including emptying trash receptacles, sweeping/washing the floor, and dusting seating surfaces.
- Perform outreach to neighborhood residents and businesses near the MHC's parking sites, promoting the mobile health clinic services.
- Manage inventory of mobile health clinic supplies, and prepare the RV at the beginning and end of each day.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including patient registration and carelink training.
Requirements
- High school diploma and a valid NH state commercial driver's license.
- A minimum of six years driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT physical required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to interact with diverse patient populations in a positive, professional manner.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
The Driver/Patient Service Representative will be required to perform tasks that involve a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.
