Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Wake County Public School System. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mathematics education to students in grades 6-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure student success
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement mathematics curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mathematics Education or related field
  • North Carolina teaching certification in Mathematics (6-12)
  • Proven track record of success in teaching mathematics to secondary students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
