Role Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and scheduling maintenance requests. This position involves liaising with both the maintenance team and tenants to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with tenants to address their maintenance inquiries and issues.
  • Input and manage incoming tenant maintenance requests.
  • Delegate tasks to the internal maintenance team and external service providers.
  • Collaborate with the Inspection Coordinator and Rental Turn Manager.
  • Conduct follow-ups with new tenants to assess satisfaction and identify any necessary maintenance.
  • Process security deposit refunds based on inspections and invoices.
  • Work closely with the accounting department to ensure accurate billing for all services rendered.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation.
  • Effective time management capabilities.
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • College degree is not mandatory.

Preferred Experience:
  • Background in customer service, administration, or project management.
  • Some experience or coursework in accounting is advantageous.
