Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. The successful candidate will provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Utilizes evidence-based practices and research to inform nursing decisions and improve patient outcomes.
- Identifies patient, unit, and organizational priorities and incorporates them into the nursing process.
- Adheres to all compliance and policy/procedures of the organization, including licensure renewal, assigned training, and employee health screenings.
- Provides care within the scope of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
- Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of critical care experience, plus 6 months of experience in an electrophysiology lab
- SC Registered Nurse licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
- Data entry skills and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of patient equipment and RCIS or RCES certification preferred
The Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
