Job Overview

The Millennium Group is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Mail Service Associate. As a key member of our mail operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mail and documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, review, and process mail and documents in the Mail Center.
  • Perform tasks related to digital mail, including scanning, saving, and emailing documents.
  • Deliver and transport mail and documents within and between departments.
  • Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items.
  • Operate a company vehicle to transport items.
  • Provide excellent customer service and answer calls.
  • Pick up outbound boxes and packages from internal customer locations.
  • Sort and categorize items according to established methods.
  • Prepare items for processing, shipment, or transportation.
  • Enter activity data in logs and maintain records.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using a computer or service provider's equipment.
  • Ability to cross-train on other roles within the department and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of mail service-related experience and knowledge of office service procedures.
  • 1-3 years' experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually or in a team environment and perform multiple functional tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
