Position Overview:
As a key member of the Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, the Aircraft Maintenance Team Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing maintenance operations at our facility. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure that all maintenance activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Service Team Manager to develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate maintenance activities across various shifts for assigned aircraft.
2. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to technicians during the inspection, maintenance, and repair processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
3. Problem Solving: Anticipate potential challenges and proactively engage in resolving any project constraints to guarantee timely aircraft delivery.
4. Compliance Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance, materials management, and other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and FAA regulations.
5. Knowledge Maintenance: Stay updated on Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, Aircraft Service Changes, and other relevant publications to maintain a high standard of aircraft maintenance.
6. Training and Development: Instruct and mentor aircraft technicians on troubleshooting procedures, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance techniques.
7. Financial Oversight: Monitor project finances, ensuring accurate time and material charging to work orders and providing updates to stakeholders.
8. Safety and Housekeeping: Implement 6S and Lean principles to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and inclusivity within the team.
- Assist in the evaluation of technician performance and contribute to employee development plans.
- Ensure the serviceability of ground support equipment and coordinate necessary maintenance.
- Undertake other duties as assigned to support the operational goals of the organization.

Qualifications:
- A valid A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license is mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED is required, with a minimum of 6 years of inspection and heavy maintenance experience on large and/or mid-size aircraft, including three years of Gulfstream aircraft experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in technical reference materials and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Must be capable of performing physical tasks associated with aircraft maintenance.
