We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Select Medical. As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities- Continuously monitor and interpret EKG rhythms, identifying basic and lethal rhythms, and artifact.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to all alarms, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
- Complete EKG interpretations, including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTI, QTc, ST segment, and waveform alterations.
- Verify strip interpretations with RNs and ensure accurate documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritizing patient care and safety.
- Competitive hourly rate of $23.17.
- Shift differentials for nights and weekends.
- Sign-on bonus of $3,000.
