Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Select Medical. As a Telemetry Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms and responding to alarms in a timely and appropriate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously observe and ensure timely responses to alarms on EKG monitors.
  • Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifact.
  • Complete EKG interpretations, including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTI, QTc, ST segment, waveform alterations, and rhythm interpretation.
  • Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.
