The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for education. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day financial operations and recording of general ledger transactions.
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
- Supervising accounting staff and providing training and support as needed.
- Collaborating with other departments to support financial planning and resource allocation.
- Staying current on financial trends and best practices in the education sector.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a school or nonprofit organization.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $185,000 per year.
