Undergraduate Project Controller Intern

About the Role
NREL is seeking an undergraduate student or recent graduate to serve as a project controller for the heliostat consortium and other concentrating solar thermal power projects. As a project controller, you will work with engineers and scientists to manage internal and external processes related to project funding, planning, coordination, implementation, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project leaders and senior staff in planning, coordinating, and implementing project activities
- Manage internal and external processes related to project funding
- Work with researchers and subcontractors to achieve project objectives
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
Requirements
- Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average
- Enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited institution
- Strong communication, coordination, and organization skills
- Previous experience in project management or a related field is preferred
