Regional EyeCare Executive

The Regional EyeCare Executive plays a crucial role in advancing the mission of EYEXAM of California by collaborating closely with the President and Clinical Director. This position is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and development of optometrists and support staff, ensuring they work in harmony with store management to provide exceptional patient care and achieve business objectives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Formulate and execute strategic sales plans for offices. Mentor and guide optometrists and office personnel in enhancing sales performance and patient examinations.
- Optometric Staffing: Maintain a robust candidate pool for optometric positions; conduct interviews and onboarding for new hires.
- Patient Satisfaction: Collaborate with supervisors to implement strategies aimed at improving patient satisfaction scores.
- Communication and Culture: Lead initiatives to address significant optometric challenges, fostering a culture of teamwork and problem-solving.
- Training and Development: Enhance the skills of employed optometrists through tailored training programs, ensuring alignment with office needs.
- Policy Implementation: Enforce policies established by the EYEXAM Board and suggest necessary revisions.
- Clinical Oversight: Evaluate new eye care technologies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with ophthalmic vendors to facilitate training and collaborative opportunities.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Monitor adherence to Medicare and insurance guidelines to optimize revenue while maintaining clinical excellence.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and valid California O.D. license. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the optical sector is required. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including geographic location and individual qualifications.
