**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced School Bus Driver to join our team at the Fairfield Union Local School District. As a vital member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Monitor student behavior and ensure their safety during transport.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and reports, such as student roster time schedules and route sheets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bus environment.
  • Adhere to all district policies and procedures, including those related to student discipline and emergency evacuation procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
  • Ability to pass an annual medical examination.
  • Good moral character and a clean driving record.
  • Physical capability to safely lift and manage preschool and special needs children when necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
