About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team at World Insurance Associates, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume book of personal lines insurance business, ensuring all required tasks are completed accurately and on-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage a portfolio of insurance clients, providing exceptional service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Grow client relationships by building trust, providing expert advice, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their insurance needs.
- Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies with precision and attention to detail.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures to provide informed guidance to clients.
- Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct loss and claim analysis, providing summaries and recommendations to clients.
- Coordinate expiration lists with department managers to obtain renewal business information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in personal lines account management, with a proven track record of success.
- Property and Casualty License required.
- Valid driver's license and insurance, required.
- Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with agency management software, such as Applied/Epic, preferred.
- Able to work independently, with a high degree of interaction with team members.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and use discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
