Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team at Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrades to our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and their associated controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and upgrade HVAC systems and their associated controls
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • HVAC training required
  • Three (3) years job-related experience in residential or industrial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical trades required
  • Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operation of tractors, forklifts, bucket trucks, high lifts, and other types of equipment preferred
  • Universal Refrigeration License and EPA certification preferred
  • CPR certification and First Aid training preferred
  • Industrial HVAC, Plumbing, and Refrigeration experience is preferred
