Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time/Weekend Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at Cascadia Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in creating a joyful and vibrant environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating and planning resident activity programs, ensuring a diverse and engaging schedule.
  • Provide one-to-one programming for residents who require individualized attention.
  • Decorate for holidays and special events with the help of residents and volunteers.
  • Coordinate transportation for residents to and from activities and events.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized activities storage area.
  • Assist in carrying out activities and events in the absence of the Activities Director.
  • Collaborate with community resources to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Encourage family and staff involvement in activity programs and events.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State-certified activities training program or one year of direct programming experience with older adults.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for business use.
  • Criminal Background and fingerprint check.
  • Current food handlers card.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company applications.
  • Compassion and interest in working with seniors.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
