We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient care team. Under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN) and the direction of a physician, you will deliver nursing care in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in gathering patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate and prioritize patient/family care plans.
  • Execute care plans by implementing physician orders within your scope of practice.
  • Document and communicate care actions to ensure continuity within the patient care team.
  • Adhere to policies and regulations regarding medical record maintenance.
  • Administer medications and treatments, monitoring and documenting patient responses.
  • Engage in direct patient interactions while delivering high-quality care.
  • Assess patient progress towards established goals.
  • Provide care tailored to the specific population served on the unit, as outlined in the Administrative Scope of Services Policy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Completion of a practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
  • Active Kansas Practical Nurse license.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
Preferred:
  • Two years of relevant nursing experience.
