Responsibilities:
  • Conduct static guard posts and support the execution of plans in support of SpaceX operations.
  • Participate in advanced security training and conduct research and analysis in support of SpaceX security missions.
  • Provide mobile security support as directed by the operations center and respond to emergency situations.
  • Execute security support as dictated by SpaceX security leadership and execute roving patrols of assigned locations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 4+ years of experience in the military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Military deployment and/or counterinsurgency experience.
  • Aptitude for critical incident handling.
  • Computer-based proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Extensive team-oriented experience.
  • Small unit leadership experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • Availability to work any schedule needed, including nights, overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts.
  • Position is subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally stand in a static position for extended periods.
  • Ability to wear approximately 20-30lbs of gear throughout a 12 hour shift.
Compensation and Benefits:

Pay range: $24.50/hour. Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks.

You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation & will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year.

ITAR Requirements:
