As an Associate Adjuster, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service to our clients and supporting the overall success of The Hanover. You will engage in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, assisting customers during challenging times. Your responsibilities will include investigating, assessing, and resolving claims, all while striving to meet and surpass organizational goals.

What We Offer:

  • Adjuster License: We will sponsor the necessary claims adjuster licenses within the first 90 days of employment.

  • Compensation: Starting pay at $24.00/hour, with opportunities for accelerated pay increases and promotions within the first three years based on skill development.
  • Flexible Work Schedule: A blend of in-office and remote work, typically 1-3 days in the office and 2-4 days remote, with standard hours from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and maintain the required state adjuster licenses and continuing education credits.
  • Analyze, assess, negotiate, and resolve claims of varying complexity.
  • Utilize independent judgment in the handling of claims.
  • Conduct phone communications with clients to confirm details regarding cause, coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and empathy, aligning their needs with our services.
  • Identify potentially suspicious claims and collaborate with the Special Investigations Unit as necessary.
  • May be required to maintain a reliable home internet connection.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or actively pursuing one is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in service, finance, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
  • For specific roles, knowledge in medical services or construction terminology is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in using multiple computer applications and MS Office products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and promote an inclusive environment.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Adaptable to changing situations and requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and personal computers.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
