As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for converting client requirements into comprehensive specifications for system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and oversee cloud services and resources, including virtual machines, storage solutions, and networking components.
  • Continuously monitor the performance and availability of cloud systems to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM) protocols.
  • Ensure compliance of the cloud environment with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Develop scripts and utilize automation tools for efficient management and deployment of cloud infrastructure.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization to effectively manage and reduce operational costs.
  • Provide technical support and resolve cloud-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address complex issues.
  • Apply necessary patches, updates, and upgrades to cloud systems and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date cloud infrastructure with the latest software versions and security updates.
  • Document cloud infrastructure, processes, and configurations in detail.
  • Generate regular reports on cloud system performance, security, and resource usage.
  • Work closely with developers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to ensure cloud systems meet business objectives.
  • Effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders regarding cloud infrastructure and its organizational impact.
  • Anticipate and plan for future cloud infrastructure requirements based on current and expected usage.

This position requires an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in system administration.
  • IAM Level 1 DoD compliant certification (e.g., CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with MongoDB, Traefik, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, GitLab, and Terraform.

Education & Experience:

Typically requires advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and at least 9 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
