Job Title: Outreach and Education Specialist

Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Outreach and Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting reproductive health and well-being in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify community needs and develop programs to meet those needs.
  • Design and deliver evidence-based programs on reproductive health topics, including healthy relationships, safe sex, birth control, and teen pregnancy.
  • Provide education and outreach to youth in a variety of settings, including schools, community organizations, and health fairs.
  • Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement outreach programs.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of program activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Health Education, or a related field.
  • 4 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions and teach classes to youth on reproductive health topics.
  • Experience working with youth and demonstrated ability to be inclusive and non-stigmatizing.
  • PC skills in Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
