We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist III to join our team at the State of Delaware. This is a Casual/Seasonal position that requires strong administrative support skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Residency program doctors at Delaware Psychiatric Center, including representing the agency on behalf of their superior and offering guidance and consultation.
- Develop spreadsheets, conduct research analyses, and coordinate operations to ensure smooth and efficient office operation.
- Coordinate with medical schools to onboard students, including managing EMR access, badges, and keys.
- Establish tracking and monitoring systems and conduct follow-up to ensure effective resolution of matters.
- Obtain, organize, and draft technical and administrative material necessary for public information or departmental use.
- Two years of experience in coordinating administrative support operations, tracking workflow, and resolving problems.
- Two years of experience in conducting research from multiple sources, analyzing data collected, and preparing reports, letters, and administrative documents.
- One year of experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire, and report on data.
- One year of experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, or databases.
This is a Casual/Seasonal position that is non-pension eligible and does not offer healthcare and/or other benefits. A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire.
