POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are in search of a skilled Logistics Operations Coordinator to become a vital member of our Site Services Team at the Pilgangoora Operation.

Reporting directly to the Logistics Superintendent, the Logistics Operations Coordinator will be tasked with developing blend plans, coordinating concentrate transportation to the Wedgefield holding facility, and creating ship loading schedules to align with sales and marketing projections. This role also encompasses concentrate accounting and reconciliation from production to sales, covering both spodumene and tantalite concentrate.

This is a full-time position operating on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Metallurgists, Processing & Shipping teams to maintain and oversee production and shipping schedules based on the production budget and forecasts.
  • Oversee site logistics contractors to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct metallurgical accounting and reconciliation of concentrate.
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly logistics haulage plans to meet shipping forecasts.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency throughout the concentrate logistics value chain.
  • Ensure product quality and moisture content meet client specifications and are available for shipping schedules.
  • Monitor and report on variables and shortfalls to mitigate risks in meeting shipping timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in scheduling and monitoring product movement and transportation logistics.
  • Background in bulk product logistics, including haulage and shipping.
  • Preferred experience in contractor management.
  • Essential skills in concentrate accounting and reconciliation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication and stakeholder management experience.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to coordinate efforts across multiple teams.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
