The Pharmacy Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role, significantly influencing our clients and clinic collaborators by providing guidance on our pharmaceutical care services and benefits. This position is accountable for the financial, clinical, and quality aspects of pharmacy services and will manage the daily functions of a pharmacy, including the dispensing of prescription medications and engaging in personalized consultations with clients. Mentoring, developing, and overseeing pharmacy personnel is also a crucial aspect of this role. The supervisor will act as a talent steward, proactively seeking exceptional candidates for pharmacy positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster an outstanding experience for clients and clinic partners, continuously nurturing strong relationships to proactively address their needs.
  • Serve as a resource for clinical staff, engaging with their teams to achieve clinical outcomes.
  • Provide counsel and education to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, schedules, and any personal inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards in alignment with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct wellness services, including immunizations and preventive care.
  • Drive financial success and identify growth opportunities within the pharmacy.
  • Inspire, develop, and mentor pharmacy staff to help them reach their full potential and deliver exceptional service.
  • Establish a supportive team environment that promotes compassion and embodies our core values and culture.
  • Actively promote recruitment opportunities and attract top talent to our pharmacies.
  • Analyze key performance indicators with pharmacy staff to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct workforce and business planning to ensure operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners to meet all needs and enhance the pharmacy business.
  • Implement marketing strategies and materials to promote all pharmacy services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Active pharmacist's license in the state of Ohio.
  • Active pharmacist's license in the state of Kentucky or willingness to obtain licensure.
  • Certified immunizer or willingness to become certified within three months of hire.
  • Willingness to complete LAI Training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in pharmacy leadership.
