About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT team at Santa Monica Seafood as a Business Systems Analyst/Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and expanding our existing integration solutions, providing data integration services, and performing data analysis for import/export work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and expand an existing integration solution between our B2B eCommerce system and our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Provide data integration services to enable a new Business Intelligence solution for a supply chain partner.
  • Perform data analysis for import/export work from a legacy ERP system to our new ERP system.
  • Monitor and remediate Business Systems Analysis (BSA) assets on-prem and in-cloud.
  • Provide data analysis services to investigate/troubleshoot data accuracy and/or retrieval issues.
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure success in deployment and maintenance of their applications and/or processes.
Requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced skills and experience with SQL Server and SSIS.
  • Ability to read and write complex stored procedures.
  • Adept at turning information requirements for analytics into TSQL scripts.
  • General experience designing CRUD logic and code.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills and experience in C#.
  • Ability to work on, and create new solutions involving AWS and Azure Cloud.
  • API Use and creation (i.e. AWS Lambda and API Gateway).
  • Must be analytical and possess strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to effectively listen and pay attention to details.
  • Work well with others, especially your teammates.
  • The selected incumbent would be hungry to advance their knowledge and skill sets in order to apply it toward challenges and opportunities this role exposes.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, results-oriented, and able to balance business considerations vs technical capabilities.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation and emails.

  • Full Stack experience (architecting and deploying complete solutions).
  • Business Process Analysis experience.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Microservices, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
  • Enterprise architecture.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Seafood or food distribution experience.
  • Financial reporting experience.
