POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Business Planning Analyst is responsible for spearheading project design, testing, implementation, and performance evaluation to support Supply Chain Systems and Applications while collaborating with various business sectors.

This position is essential for the deployment of new features and enhancements to existing tools that facilitate supply planning.

The analyst plays a pivotal role in managing and directing projects related to Integrated Business Planning tool functionalities, aiding in the transition of users to new systems, creating process management frameworks, and resolving existing challenges.

The incumbent serves as a super user for supply planning, reporting, and deployment, possessing a comprehensive understanding of master data concerning MPS, DRP, and deployment planning.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develops and executes testing protocols for system upgrades, equipment modifications, or new system implementations to ensure requirements are effectively met.

2. Maintains and updates all system-specific mappings and product coding.

3. Designs and supports business and operational processing algorithms.

4. Communicates new functionality designs and system rollouts to business users.

5. Collaborates with users to manage system settings that affect performance and data output.

6. Reviews current processes with users to identify improvement opportunities and simplification strategies.

7. Monitors and supports as a Super User across Supply Planning, Manufacturing Planning, and Demand Planning functions.

8. Acts as the primary liaison for build-related tasks involving internal and external business partners.

9. Facilitates participation in all phases of system implementation, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system development, testing, and support.

10. Enhances business reporting and advanced analytics through the deployment of Daily Dashboards, Supply Trackers, Global Capacity Management, and MS Excel / Power BI.

11. Executes process redesign and enhancements that foster efficiency and transparency based on current systems.

12. Serves as the liaison for all system-related matters within Supply Planning.

The above responsibilities are intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed by individuals in this role. They are not exhaustive and may include other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Required experience with SAP (SD/PP/MM) or similar systems.

3. Preferred experience with Anaplan.

4. Preferred knowledge of SQL and/or Python.

5. Familiarity with PlanIQ and/or Machine Learning/Data Science is preferred.

6. Previous experience in the consumer-packaged goods sector is preferred.

7. Strong understanding of SAP and Supply Chain SAAS is required.

8. Knowledge of production, operations, and industry practices in consumer goods.

9. Experience in training and developing team members on technical tools and programs.

10. Proven ability to architect solutions for existing or new models.

11. Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, written and verbal communication skills, effective at both working and executive levels.

12. High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; Power BI experience is preferred.

13. Ability to build trust and confidence through integrity and authenticity.

14. Capacity to plan and prioritize tasks to align with organizational goals.

15. Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal and external partners.

16. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

17. Willingness to travel 15%-25% to production facilities or corporate locations.
