Job Title: Area Sales Manager - North

Hisense USA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager - North to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing a business strategy that drives revenue growth and market share in the North region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with independent wholesale distributors in the HVAC market space.
  • Manage and coordinate activities with manufacturer's rep agencies to grow distribution and provide product support and training.
  • Train customers on brand positioning and technology, including residential and commercial HVAC products.
  • Responsible for achieving planned sales, margin dollars, and market share through distribution development with assigned accounts.
  • Develop distributor and rep action plans focused on financial performance, business planning, and strategy.
  • Coordinate with training, logistics, marketing, and service/support teams to ensure adequate inventory levels and quality promotions.
  • Work with distributors to create contractor recruitment and sales plans that address business objectives.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct distributor training on product quality, features, and selling strategies.
  • Respond to distributor needs and expectations directly and indirectly through product support teams.
  • Resolve distribution conflict issues efficiently and develop loyal, long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' outside sales experience.
  • Associate's or higher degree required.
  • Experience working with independent HVAC distribution in the region is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30-50% within the United States.
  • Expertise in relationship building, business planning, and in-person and remote presentations.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC products and services.
  • Skilled at developing distributor growth strategies and measuring results.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to determine opportunity cost.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
