**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Thomas Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in maintaining strict control over labor costs, food costs, and inventory management.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of our culinary operations.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute menu development, inventory management, and vendor purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including HACCP standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including requisitions and vendor orders.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Develop and implement effective systems for monitoring and controlling food waste and inventory levels.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of three to five years of foodservice cooking or leadership experience in a healthcare, hotel, fine dining, or restaurant setting.
  • Inventory and vendor purchasing experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and catering experience is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred and will be available to obtain upon hire.
  • Ability to pass a full background check and drug screen, including marijuana.
