Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at a boutique Real Estate law firm in Naples, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate law and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, leases, and closing documents.
  • Conduct research on legal issues and prepare memoranda and summaries for attorneys.
  • Coordinate and manage real estate closings, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
  • Organize and maintain client files and databases, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, including letters and emails, to clients and other parties involved in cases.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for meetings, hearings, and trials, including organizing exhibits and evidence.
  • Support attorneys in administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and billing.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to real estate law.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys or firm management.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, in real estate law.
  • Strong understanding of real estate law and procedures.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and client service orientation.
  • Knowledge of Florida real estate law and practices is a plus.
  • Living in, or willing to relocate to, Naples, Florida.
