Job Title: Behavioral Threat Assessment Analyst

Join our team as a Behavioral Threat Assessment Analyst and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our campus community.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a unique blend of analytical and interpersonal skills. As a Behavioral Threat Assessment Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing open-source behavioral background information related to persons of concern who may pose a threat to the University. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess risk and develop mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze open-source behavioral background information
  • Conduct research on individuals of concern
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess risk
  • Provide support services for other Campus Safety and Risk Management groups
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment
  • Professional training in intelligence analysis
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience related to the area of assignment
  • Knowledge of criminal justice and law enforcement procedure
  • Professional training or experience in behavioral analysis and/or targeted violence prevention
