We are seeking a Co-op/Intern Technical to join our multidisciplinary team and gain valuable experience. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of engineering, including combustion technology, electrical systems, heat transfer, and turbomachinery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the aftermarket department in developing and implementing a service troubleshooting and training manual. This will involve creating service documentation and processes to standardize field work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a knowledge base of Fulton's equipment through field work.
- Document processes for inclusion in the final product.
- Develop work instructions and process documentation.
- Create a service manual.
Requirements:
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering & Management, HVAC Mechanical or Electrical Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
- Strong electrical and mechanical proficiency.
- Writing skills, with an aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
Critical Competencies:
- Attention to Detail - Ensuring accuracy and recognizing anomalies or errors.
- Communication - Clearly conveying findings, both written and orally.
- Problem-Solving - Coming up with solutions using data-driven approaches.
- Teamwork - Collaborating with other departments or teams, understanding their needs, and providing them with relevant data insights.
- Ethical Judgement - Recognizing the ethical implications of data usage, storage, and analysis.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
