- Update existing patient records and verify insurance eligibility using electronic health records for same-day appointments.
- Utilize online tools to confirm insurance eligibility as needed during scheduling.
- Review patient balances and co-payment details.
- Incorporate quality metrics and objectives into scheduling decisions when assisting callers with appointments.
- Stay informed about staff directories, health center updates, and community events.
- Perform reception duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a positive demeanor with effective verbal communication skills.
- Clear and articulate speaking voice.
- Able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Basic computer proficiency is advantageous.
