Position Overview

Job Title: Rehabilitation Specialist

Location: Spring Hill, TN

Contract Duration: 14 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Type: 8-hour Day Shift

Compensation: $48 per hour

Note: Your compensation may vary based on your residency status in relation to the facility.

  • Experience in outpatient settings is preferred.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • First-time travelers are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
  • 36 hours are guaranteed, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours.
  • Overtime must receive prior approval from the director.
  • No floating to other clinics is required.
  • Patient demographic primarily includes orthopedic cases.
  • Productivity expectations involve seeing 12-14 patients daily, with a target of 60 visits per week; double-booking for follow-up visits is anticipated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities.
  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs and objectives.
  • Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall range of motion.
  • Track and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Manage and maintain physical therapy equipment and resources effectively.
  • Comply with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Prior experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is required.
  • State certification/license is mandatory.
