NovaCare Rehabilitation is looking for a FULL-time Outpatient Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking dedicated professionals who are enthusiastic about orthopedic therapy. New graduates are welcome to submit their applications. MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES are available with seasoned clinicians on-site, treating a diverse patient demographic from adolescents to seniors. Our services encompass sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation, neurological therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and oncology care, in addition to general orthopedic services. The expected patient load is around 10 per day, with most therapists averaging 10-12 patients during an eight-hour shift. Evaluations are conducted in a 1:1 setting for one hour, while follow-up visits last between 30 to 45 minutes, tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

This position offers a full-time schedule with a 40-hour work week. Two evenings of treatment until 7 PM are required, with the last patient scheduled an hour prior. There are no weekend shifts. Our facility is conveniently located and features a bright, open design with ample natural light. Private treatment rooms are available, and our front desk staff is dedicated to supporting both therapists and patients. Work Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with evening shifts twice a week.

Salary commensurate with experience, starting at $80,000.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy practice.
  • Complete all required corporate and clinical training, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Evaluate, treat, and manage treatment plans for patients requiring physical therapy, documenting the medical necessity clearly.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, and third-party payors.
  • Participate in facility meetings as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Valid State Physical Therapist License.
  • CPR certification required.
