Job Overview

Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center is a leading non-profit outpatient rehabilitation facility dedicated to delivering exceptional therapy services and enhancing the quality of life for our patients.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team as a Rehabilitation Specialist. In this role, you will provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery, improve function, and enhance overall quality of life.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and continuing education opportunities to provide the highest level of care.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure and certification in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting and prioritize multiple patients and tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
