Meat Department Supervisor

As a Meat Department Supervisor at Whole Foods Market, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our meat department. You will be responsible for supervising and delegating tasks to meat team members, working with the team trainer to train team members, and assisting in the training of new team members. You will also be responsible for resolving difficult customer situations, ensuring all necessary breaks are given, and maintaining awareness of customer flows and needs.

- Ensure all necessary breaks are given
- Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs
- 12+ months retail experience
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to lead and develop others
- Extensive knowledge of meat team procedures and policies
- Extensive knowledge of meat products and ability to communicate living conditions of animals to customers and team members
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
