About the Role

This is a casual (per diem) position that requires flexibility in scheduling throughout the week, including weekends, evenings, and participation in call rotation. The position is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.

About the Department

The Ultrasonography department at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista is a family-oriented environment where everyone is ready to jump in and help each other succeed. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong interpersonal skills to deliver excellent patient-focused care.

Requirements
  • Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredited, or successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA-approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required.
  • ARDMS or CCI certification.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OB/GYN.
  • Breast.
  • RDCS or RCS.
  • RVT or RVS.
