Job Overview

Position Summary:

Zeus Fire & Security is seeking an IT Strategic Partnership Manager to play a pivotal role within our expanding IT division. This position will involve close collaboration with the Chief Information Officer to facilitate various initiatives, assess business requirements, and recommend IT solutions that align with organizational objectives. You will engage with stakeholders and senior management, significantly influencing outcomes and driving results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution of the IT strategic roadmap. Addresses project challenges and risks (both technical and non-technical) through effective identification, evaluation, tracking, communication, and mediation.
  • Participates in or leads initiatives aimed at enhancing project management processes and implementing best practices.
  • Encourages adherence to project outcomes and timelines among technology teams and business leaders, while streamlining inefficient business processes through the adoption of new technologies.
  • Manages external contractors and technology vendors to ensure compliance with schedules and commitments to the program.
  • Guides projects from inception through implementation and go-live, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards.
  • Utilizes data insights to address comprehensive issues and support decision-making.
  • Demonstrates experience with UML design methodologies.
  • Implements projects using Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban.
  • Develops solutions that effectively address user challenges.
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency in achieving results and influences program team members across various leadership levels.
  • Applies critical thinking with a focus on execution and quality outcomes.
  • Possesses a proven track record of adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to create and summarize clear messages for executive communications and presentations, utilizing advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Exhibits strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Conducts general data analytics using Excel to support key performance indicators and metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security or Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of supervisory or management experience in an IT PMO leadership role.
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC models and expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles, with the ability to integrate them effectively based on project and business needs, including over 10 years of experience managing large, complex projects in a high-tech corporate environment with multi-functional teams.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in enterprise-level application development projects.
  • Balanced technical and business acumen.
  • Possesses sufficient technical background to provide credible leadership to development teams and accurately assess complex project risks and issues.
  • Hands-on operational experience in a high-volume, critical production service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute strategic programs within time, resource, and budget constraints while delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Collaborates effectively with peers and team members to strengthen team dynamics both within and outside the assigned area of responsibility.
