About the Job
At Solvenow Inc., we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - Substation Design Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing substation engineering and consulting services to clients across the US and internationally.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on substation design and protection. Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing high-voltage electrical substations, including yard layouts, plans, sections, and details.
  • Preparing proposals and scope development, including conceptual designs and execution plans.
  • Coordinating design activities with other departments, such as Civil/Structural and Transmission Line.


We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience, or completion of a master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
  • Completion of the FE exam is strongly preferred.
