Senior Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at Times Microwave Systems. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing automated systems for our coaxial cable manufacturing process.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in process automation, including project management, and a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading high-value capital projects to drive process improvement and meet operational goals
- Designing and implementing automated systems, especially as related to manufacturing
- Collaborating with site leaders and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and develop ROI
- Researching and implementing new automation technologies to improve productivity and quality
- Communicating with suppliers and internal customers about project details
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to be hands-on
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
- Experience interpreting detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Experience working with and managing external automation vendors, OEMs, contractors, etc.
Times Microwave Systems is a subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation and part of the Amphenol Military and Aerospace division. We design and manufacture high-performance coaxial cables, connectors, and cable assemblies for military, aerospace, telecommunications, industrial RF, and microwave applications.
