Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at Times Microwave Systems. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing automated systems for our coaxial cable manufacturing process.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in process automation, including project management, and a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading high-value capital projects to drive process improvement and meet operational goals
  • Designing and implementing automated systems, especially as related to manufacturing
  • Collaborating with site leaders and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and develop ROI
  • Researching and implementing new automation technologies to improve productivity and quality
  • Communicating with suppliers and internal customers about project details
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to be hands-on
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
  • Experience interpreting detailed technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience working with and managing external automation vendors, OEMs, contractors, etc.
