About the Role
As an Electrical Engineering Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance electrical systems for our Access Networks Solutions Business Unit. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful release of these products to our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic circuits, including microprocessor and microcontroller design, serial communications protocols, and Hardware Description Languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing circuits, generating schematics, and creating Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Performing Design Verification (DVT) test plans and capturing results
- Collaborating with engineering disciplines and teams to ensure product success
- Working on various CATV Amplifier projects as part of the Access Networks Solutions Business Unit
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical and/or electronic engineering from an accredited university
- Proven strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Basic knowledge of electronic circuits, including microprocessor and microcontroller design, serial communications protocols, and Hardware Description Languages
- Lab experience with Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers
