Job Title: Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our commercial construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction site, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the construction site and ensure that all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and codes.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure that all workers and subcontractors comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including any delays or issues that may arise.
  • Review and approve construction-related documentation, such as contracts, invoices, and change orders.
  • Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
  • Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
  • Consult with inspection authorities and conduct regular reviews of the construction site to ensure quality control and identify potential issues.
Requirements:
  • Five (5) + years' commercial construction experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate competencies in achieving results, communication, collaboration, and building teamwork.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and photography.
  • Firm understanding of the commercial construction industry and processes.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
