The Role

We are seeking a Research Associate to join our K-12 Education Practice Area. As a Research Associate, you will support research projects that include literature reviews, policy briefs, peer profiling/case studies, and research briefs. You will work under the guidance of Research Directors and other senior research staff to execute individual projects for K-12 clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct secondary research to address research questions related to key components of K-12 education.
  2. Analyze and synthesize secondary source material to draw key insights from the literature and make actionable recommendations to decision-makers.
  3. Write reports and create other types of deliverables to communicate findings to different types of audiences.
  4. Effectively manage the phases of the project life cycle to ensure timely delivery of research to clients.

  6. Demonstrated interest in K-12 education.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience conducting K-12 research in a professional or academic setting.
  2. Familiarity with federal and state education databases.
  3. Writing for a business/non-academic audience.
  4. Experience in designing compelling visuals to communicate results.
Education Requirement

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Economics, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, or a related discipline is preferred, though candidates with relevant experience and who hold other degrees will be considered.
